For over 40 years the group JFL seniors has loved and nourished the culture of Croatian folk dance and are now in Croatia for the first time with a desire to learn new dance moves.

Supported by the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in Osaka, Japan, represented by Jelene Yamaski and organized by the NPO Japanese- Croatian Exchange Association JCEA, the group, together with the seniors of the folk dance group JFL -" Japan Folklore Lovers" visited Zadar today.

In the tavern in Petrcane, after enjoying the fresh Adriatic tuna prepared as sushi, sashimi, carpaccio and grill and pairing it with authentic exquisite dalmatian wines of the Royal Vineyards, the group danced Croatian and Japanese dances.

In the St. Donat church, the Japanese group Monokai performed their traditional instrumental-visual stage performance with guests from Zadar, the women's vocal acapella group Kapric.

From 11th/Apr till 16th/Apr/2015 a total of three Japanese Basketball Teams participate at FIMBA World Basketball League in Zadar, Croatia.

The whole three Japanese Basketball Teams, attended a wine tasting event at Royal Stone Vineyards in Punta Skala, near Zadar. They tasted a indigenous wines from Royal Stone Vineyards, and enjoyed very much in a specific warm Dalmatian hospitality . The distributor of those premium wines was "Fuji Trading Co., Ltd." from Yokahama, Japan.

Last night in the restaurant "Kornati" in Zadar the ceremonial presentation of the new wine Pošip PUNTA SKALA – the debut of the ''Royal Vineyard'' Ltd from Zadar, was presented,

The evidences of excellence are numerous awards and recognitions, which the wine Pošip PUNTA SKALA won on the domestic and international wine competitions in a short period of existence of the brand - five appearances and five titles champions.

The Swedish royal couple got one special gift in Zadar as a symbolic link with the Croatian royal line. It is the champion wine Pošip 2012 from the 'Royal Vineyards' from Petrčane that originates from the vineyards Punta Skala, whose land is owned by the Benedictine monastery of St. Mary from Zadar.

In 1066 the Croatian King Petar Krešimir the fourth donated the first vineyards to the newly founded Benedictine monastery of St. Mary in Zadar, which was led by its sister, a nun Čika, a great-granddaughter of the Queen Jelena and the Croatian King Mihajlo Krešimir II.

The manufacturers are convinced that the Swedish royal couple will enjoy the intensive aroma of the wine Pošip Punta Skala with a hint of stones on which the reeds in grapes collect blessings of the Zadar pleasant Mediterranean climate.
