PLAVAC MALI is the most important Croatian autochthonous red wine variety, with exceptional potential, created by crossing the Crljenka and Dobričić varieties. It best expresses its varietal characteristics in vineyards on rocky slopes with southern exposures, if, as in Punta Skala, they are exposed to triple insolation from the sun, sea and stone.
TASTING NOTES
It is characterized by a deep ruby color and pronounced body. Its taste is harmonious, drinkable, full-structured and with wonderfully balanced tannins. The wine is extractive, dominated by fruity aromas of ripe cherries and plums, stout and luxurious with an elegant finish.
